I started out as a yearbook nerd, and I think the only thing that's changed is I now own a lot more cameras. In college I studied photojournalism, which continues to greatly influence my work and always will. Sometimes I think photography is the one thing I'll never get sick of, then I'm reminded of that pie place down the street and change my mind.
There are some other things you should know about me. Maybe it's the journalist in me, but before each assignment I like to get as much information possible so that we can create something truly original. I like to think of each shoot as a collaboration, so tell me your ideas, your vision, about what you would do if there was no gravity on Earth or budget to follow, and I will do the same. Most importantly, while being a photographer is a lot of work, I like to think it's a lot of fun too.
In addition to the photography you see here, I also specialize in boudoir photography, so I invite you to look at my work in that area as well. I should probably also mention that I've worked as a photo editor at places like JPG Magazine, judged photo contests for organizations such as PDN, and created products that help people get more creative with their photography. In the end I realized I really belong behind the camera. I hope to see you there.
